Saving dogs in the 11th hour of their lives.
China Rescue Dogs helps forever families adopt a dog from China that is in the 11th hour of their life. We are a non-profit organization that helps and assists with the adoption process of a China Rescue Dog to stop them from becoming food.
Why we exist
Each year, millions of dogs in China face the meat trade. Many are family pets that were stolen, strays, or shelter dogs whose time has run out. We work directly with trusted partners on the ground in China to identify dogs days — sometimes hours — away from being killed, and we get them out.
Once safe, every dog is medically cleared, vaccinated, microchipped, and given the recovery time they need before flying to the United States to meet their new family.
